Diva Pro Styling Jumbo Wand

Screen Shot 2014-05-14 at 15.27.38I actually don’t know how many hair tools I have at this stage!! I would give most hair dressers a run for their money, and in fact probably have more then a lot. I had never heard of Diva pro styling before, but I saw a few of their tools, when getting my extensions in. How was there new toys that I had never heard of? I was intrigued and like most things, when I get an idea into my head, I have to have it.

The Diva pro Styling Jumbo wand, has the largest barrel of any hot wand I have come across. At its thickest point it is 45mm, while its thinnest point is 22mm. Compare this to the Babyliss wand, which is 32mm at its largest point and 19mm at its smallest. This type of barrel helps to create a lovely big loose curl that will last all day.

This wand is hot. I actually burned my wood floors, by placing it down on the floor.  It comes with a glove, and I strongly suggest that you use it, to stop burning your fingers. The temperature ranges from 140 degrees to 200 degrees. The temperature you use depends on the length and thickness of your hair. I have a lot of hair so I use it on the hottest temperature, but when doing other people’s hair that is thinner than mine, I find the lower heats work just as good. It is unbelievably important to use a heat defence spray on your hair before you use this. That amount of heat on your hair is never good, but with a heat spray, it helps to protect your hair from damage.

Out of all my hair tools, this is by fair my most used in the last month. It heats up in less than a minute and I can curl my full head of hair in less than 15 minutes Considering I have extra hair with the extensions, this is a seriously fast time. I curled my friends hair in less than 10 minutes. The curls that it creates are lovely and loose and hold all day. Like most curls, they will drop, but they will go into the most gorgeous wave.

Diva Pro styling do have wands that are thinner than this, but to be honest, unless you have really short hair, or are looking for bouncy ringlets, the purple wand should be the one you go for. You can buy them online, but if you go to Flair salon service, you can get them for €34.99 . They don’t have them shown on their website, but they do have them in store ad I’m sure if you call them they can sort out delivery for you. Or you can buy it for a little bit more on the Diva Pro Website. I bought mine on eBay and got it at the bargain price of €18 including delivery. I think my next purchase will have to be the beach waver. It looks very naughty indeed, but it creates lovely beach waves.
