Quick and easy everyday hair and makeup to get an extra 10 minutes in bed!

Screen Shot 2015-05-27 at 23.24.03There is one thing I am most certainly not and that is a morning person. I must hit the snooze button at least 5 times every single morning. Even when it comes to the last alarm and i know I have no choice but to get out of the bed, I moan and groan about how I am not cut out of this life! I hate getting up in the mornings, so if I can claw back and extra 10 minutes in bed I am all for that.

Over the past few months, I have perfected getting reading in the morning down to a fine art. I have now trained my hair into only needed a wash every 3rd or 4th day, which is nothing short of a miracle considering I used to wash it every single morning. I mean who has time for that!! In the video down below, I have literally gone through my morning routine. This routine has me out the door in 30 minutes including my shower!!! To some ladies this might seem a lot, but considering I used to take an hour to get ready, this is some serious speed.

I have included a quick first impressions of the new Mac pro long wear water proof foundation. This foundation is fast gaining holy grail status in my life. I honestly can’t get enough of it. It is just so beyond flawless on the skin and it literally doesn’t budge all day long. See I have now even managed to gain a few minutes to myself during the day now!!

So enough waffling and I will just leave you with the hair and makeup tutorial . Let me know what you guys think.

Yeah, the new MAC foundation is pretty awesome! If you know how to use and apply it it’s really good. I cannot believe how QUICK your routine is! I spend 20 minutes showering alone so that would leave me ten minutes for the rest… Not gonna happen haha.

Love this, I always go with the “plait-rolls” when I couldn’t be bothered to wash my hair and it still looks like you made effort! Also need to get MAC Uninterrupted, just afraid it might be a but too warm for my skin tone.

    Hi Sinead,
Thanks a mil for the tutorial, it’s great. I’m trying furiously to write down the products as you use them! A full product list would be great but time consumimg I know, but could you just let me know what the lip products are ? Can’t seem to catch their names and love the colour of both the pencil and lipstick.
    Thanks a mil!

Definitely have to try this but not sure sure if it’s going to happen at that speed, you make it looks so easy. Shaving 5 minutes of the dreaded morning routine would be a victory !
