Eyebrows on Fleek with the Inglot AMC brow gel

Ready to have some seriously fabulous looking brows? Well if you’re a fan of sculpted looking brows, then Inglots latest release is going to be right up your street. This summer saw Inglot reaching out into the brow gel market with their new range of AMC brow gels. Available in 12 different shades, I picked the shade number 17. I found that this was the closest to my natural colouring, without looking too ashy.Even with such a large range of colours,  I do feel that if you have a  very light colouring, you may have trouble finding a shade to match your own colouring. So make sure to go into the…

My top 3 powder highlighters

Lets face it, when it comes to highlighters the more glow I can get the better. Lately I am an absolute fiend for highlighters and I am constantly on the hunt for a new, better product. I have to partly blame Jaclyn Hill for my highlighter obsession, as that girl always has the most unbelievable glow. In fact on July 2nd she is releasing her own highlighter with Becca Cosmetics, in the shade Champagne Pop. I mean just look at it.!!! I have already set a reminder in my phone to buy it the day it comes out, as this baby will sell out fast! To help you track down…

Kylie Jenner Inspired tutorial

Ok so take the name of this tutorial with a pinch of salt. I was stuck for a name! It’s really only the lips that look anyway Kylie Jenner inspired!! A few weeks ago, when heading off to Galway for the ITWBN event, I posted a picture of the makeup above. So many of you emailed me, or posted on the picture itself, that you would love to see a tutorial. As it is such an easy look to do, I decided to recreate this look in a video, which I have linked down below. I am not trained in makeup, so if I can do a look like this,…

When it comes to night time makeup, I really need something that is going to last. The last thing I want to do is cart around half my makeup bag for top ups throughout the night. The 12 Reds of Christmas

At this time of year, I love nothing more than a strong red lipstick . To me it screams Christmas party season and it looks so elegant, especially when paired with a simple eye. However, finding the perfect red can be hard work and there is a lot of trial and error. For today’s post I have taken the hassle out of the search for you. Last year, mags from Emerald Eyeliner, did a series of posts on the 12 red of Christmas, which I absolutely loved, so I decided this year I would take some inspiration from her and do my own.  I have shopped my stash and taken…

October Favourites

My October favourites are a little late this month, but better late than never. This month I found myself stepping outside of my comfort zone of products, and trying lots of new products, as well as some old favourites. I was especially trying some new things when it came to base and lips. Wet N Wild Mega last lipsticks I am a massive fan of the Wet N Wild Mega last lipsticks. These lipsticks are a semi matte lipstick, yet they don’t wear like a matte. Instead they are creamy on the lips, long wearing, pigmented, and comfortable on the lips. I can’t say enough good things about these lipsticks. For the past…

Products for highlighting

Like with contouring products, Highlighting products come in both cream and powder form. There are a million and one products out there to help you achieve the perfect glow, but I have narrowed it down to my favourite six and have divided it into 3 cream and 3 powder. When highlighting my skin, I tend to use both cream and powder at the same time. I use the cream products in the areas I want to highlight and also under the eye to brighten up this area and then I apply the powder products above the eye and on the high points of my cheekbones. Is this the correct way…

Products for contouring

Lately it seems the world and it’s Granny is contouring. Everyone wants cheekbones like Kim Kardashian et al, but finding the right product to achieve this look can be hard work and we can end up with more hits than misses. Every week I get emails from readers asking me to recommend products that they can use to achieve their sculpted goddess cheekbones. So today I have put together my favourite 6 contouring products, to have you looking like Kim in no time. Before I go into the details of each product, I want to talk contouring palettes. Everybody seems to want all their contouring products contained in one neat…

Spotlight on Inglot Lipsticks

Those of you that have been reading the blog for a while, will know that I am a massive Inglot fan. One of my favourite products is their lipsticks. I just can’t get enough of them and today I am focusing on my favourite Inglot lipsticks in my collection. I just can’t get enough of Inglot lipsticks. The quality of these lipsticks are up there with the best of them.  They are extremely pigmented, moist on the lips and long-lasting like no other high end lipstick I have tried that isn’t a matte. They have a massive range of colours and the best part is, they don’t break the bank…

Inglot HD sculpting powders

In case you have been living under a rock, contouring is in! Everybody wants the sculpted look a lá Kim Kardashian and friends and Inglot have got you covered not only for cream contouring, but in the powder department too. When it comes to sculpting out the cheek bones everybody seems to have a different preference. When I am heading out at night, I tend to use a dark cream concealer to sculpt out my non existent cheekbones. Sometimes if I want to give an even more defined look, I put a sculpting powder on top of the cream. However, during the day I tend to gently sculpt the cheekbones…

Inglot 254 Lipstick

Lets just throw it out there. I love pink lipstick. I actually can’t get enough of them. I feel like I need to search for every different shade of pink lipstick there is, to have in my collection. My latest addition to my pink addiction, is the Inglot lipstick in 254. Oh Lordy this is a pretty one. If you haven’t tried Inglot lipsticks, firstly you need to take a long hard look at yourself and ask why in god’s name you haven’t bought at least one. Then you need to get to your nearest Inglot store and buy at least 5 of them. Alongside Mac, these are hands down my favourite…

Inglot AMC cream concealer number 73

Inglot Cream concealer number 73 The word contouring fills me with both fear and excitement. There are days when my contouring is seriously on the ball, and then there are days that I look like I have given myself a 5 o clock shadow! Ever since Kim K posted the famous picture of her contouring routine, we have all gone contouring mad. There are times I actually believe that if I could just get my contouring right, I will look like Kimmy. Wishful thinking I know. With contouring we are trying to not only look like Kim, but to create the illusion of cheekbones. Most of us aren’t blessed with…

Inglot Sparkling Dust review

Inglot Sparkling Dust number 2 If you are someone who loves a strong highlighter, then this is the post for you. A few weeks ago I was introduced to the Inglot Sparkling dust, while attending a makeup masterclass with From Matte to Metallic. From the very first time I used it, I knew myself and this little pot of sparkle were going to have a serious love affair. Regular readers of the blog will know my love of multi tasking products and this little pot, is seriously hard working when it comes to multi tasking. Inglot Sparkling Dust number 2 The Inglot Sparkling dust comes in a decent size 2.5g…

March Favourites

I can’t believe that it is nearly April. The time is literally flying by, but the good thing is that means we are getting closer and closer to the warm summer months. I literally can’t wait to feel the heat of the sun on my legs. While I have tried to change up my makeup look everyday this month, there have been a few staples that I have used over and over again. Nars Laguna Bronzer     This is my first ever Nars product to own and my god did I choose well. This is the perfect bronzer for a light natural powder contour. The Laguna bronzer gives a…

Inglot Gel Liner 77

Eye liner is a staple in many makeup bags and if you are anything like me, my makeup drawer is full of literally about 20 different types of eyeliners. Everything from a cake liner to a pen liner. My hunt for the perfect, long wearing, easy to use and waterproof liner was a long one, but finally it is over. The Inglot AMC eyeliner in number 77 is a matte back eyeliner, with the most intense pigmentation. This liner creates a seriously blacker than black line opaque line, that stays put all day. I mean it doesn’t move.I have worn it from one end of the day to the other…

Inglot Freedom system

Inglot Freedom system There is no denying it. I have an eyeshadow problem and my latest addition to this addiction is the Inglot freedom system. I mean, there is more eyeshadows to choose from than I could possibly dream of. Inglot palette For those of you that don’t know how it works, the Inglot Freedom system gives you the chance to create your own palette. The palettes come in 4s, 5s and 10s costing €6 each no matter the size. Each eyeshadow is €6. Which I think is seriously good value considering the size of the eyeshadows themselves. I bought 5 slot palette with 5 eyeshadows which cost €36 in…

Red lips with Inglot 126

I love a strong red lip, especially around this time of the year. After the death of my favourite red lippy, Smashbox Legendary,  after a short mourning period, I was on the hunt for a few red lip and found this beauty. Inglot 126 is a fab blue based red. It gives the appearance of a matte lipstick, which I love, but is actually lovely and creamy and doesn’t dry out on your lips. It has good staying power, I wore it for 4 hours and only had to top up once. It actually stains your lips so even when it wears off your lips have a bit of colour…

Inglot makeup master class

I am a little late to discovering how great Inglot makeup is. While I was always aware of Inglot, my extra cash always headed into the Mac tills. Lately I have found myself tiring of Mac a little ( maybe because I have almost every eyeshadow) and branching out into other brands. When I saw the chance to take part in an Inglot makeup masterclass I jumped at the chance as I wanted to learn more about the products as well as finally learning how to get glitter to stay on my eyes. Inglot regularly run makeup masterclasses in their different stores. They often post details of these classes on…
