My name is Sinéad and I have a shopping problem. I can’t help myself, when I see something I like, I have to find a way to have it. Sadly my wages don’t always allow for this, so I have to find ways around it. As a result of this, I have become an near expert in bargain shopping and I thought I would share some of my favourite sites with you lovely lot.
1. iherb.com
Many of you will have heard me talk about iherb.com, as this is the place to get bargain real techniques brushes. If you were to buy the Real Techniques core collection in Boots, it would set you back €28.99, while if you buy it on iherb.com you can get it for the bargain price of €13 plus a small delivery price. I mean the difference in the price is scandalous. We really are robbed blind here. Before you ask, you don’t need to worry about customs. I have heard of people ordering over €100 worth of products and customs wasn’t an issue. iherb.com also stock physicians formula.
2. Look Fantastic
While there are lots of sites just like Look fantastic, I find not only does Look fantastic have a better selection of brands, but also customs isn’t an issue which it can be with Feel unique. You aren’t going to get a massive bargain with this site, but Benefit and Nars are cheaper on here than they are in the shops. Also look out for offers and discount codes, as this is where you will grab yourself a serious bargain.
3. ebay
I know I may be stating the obvious with this one, but I am a big advocate of eBay. Once you shop wisely that is. If you buy from a reputable seller, you can get massive bargains. I have bought everything and anything from ebay, but I think my necklace haul was my absolute best bargain ever. Always buy from someone who has a good rating. Read over their reviews before buying so that you don’t get fleeced. As I am writing this post, I have just been directed to this eBay seller by Sharon from Behind Green Eyes. I can’t believe I haven’t found this seller before!!! There could be damage done to my plastic cards tonight!!!
4. Cult Beauty
A few months back, I paid a staggering €27 for the Anastasia Beverly Hill Brow Wiz . While the brow pencil is unbelievably amazing, I was so annoyed having to pay that price when I new it was only €17 ish in the States. I set off on a hunt for a cheaper source of my beloved brow pencil. This is when I discovered Cult Beauty. While it is not full of bargains, there are some brands that you can get a lot cheaper than if you were to buy them in store in Ireland.
5. Parcel Motel
Ok I know I am cheating on the one, as it isn’t technically a shopping site, but you see parcel motel opens your life up to a while load of bargains. For example, I love Topshop clothes, but I hate the fact that Topshop in Ireland charge a serious amount more than the UK store. When I see something in store that I like, I try it on and then come home and order through the UK site, with delivery to my parcel motel. Same goes for all the UK stores that charge a fortune over here, but not in the UK. A stay in parcel motel is €3.95. Once your package is delivered to Parcel Motel, you get a text to let you know it is there and you have 2 days to collect it at a time that suits you. Genius.
