Kindle
Yes I know this isn’t a beauty item, but I couldn’t do a gift list without a kindle!!! I have my kindle about 5 years now and I still love it as much as I did the first day I got it. If you’re a reader or the person you’re buying for is a reader, than this is an invaluable present. I personally thought I would miss holding a real book, but honestly this is so handy for just firing in the bag with you and its light so when you’re lying in bed it doesn’t feel heavy in the bag. You can buy it on Currys for €79.
Gwen Stefani Urban Decay palette
This is one of the most hotly anticipated releases in the beauty world this year. The Gwen Stefani palette for Urban Decay has finally arrived on our shelves and it is so worth the hype. There are a lot of very wearable daytime colours, along with some more popping night time shades. I sometimes find that palettes are either one or the other, but this palette caters for both events!! I have only used 2 shades so far and they really are beautiful. You can buy this from Debenhams for €46.
Charlotte Tilbury Film Star bronze and Glow
I had this on my list last year and guess what, it is on the list again. I have dropped serious hints with my sister. In fact I told her, Ash, just get me the Charlotte Tilbury Film star bronze and glow palette. I have heard so many rave reviews about this contour and highlight palette. In fact I haven’t read one bad review. The only problem with it, is that is is so expensive, I can only justify it if I got it as a present!! You can pick this up in Brown Thomas for €65.
Ikea Malm Desk
Yes I know this one is a little on the random side, but this is more of an idea for you to put on your list, rather than buying it as a gift for someone. You should use Christmas as the opportunity to start your vanity area. This desk costs €100 and it is honestly the greatest thing ever if you have the space for a makeup table. I adore mine. You can read about it here and see a tour of it here.
Beauty Blender gift set
I have serious love for the beauty blender and I included the single one in my stocking filler gift guide, but if you fancy splashing a little more cash, you can pick up original, pro black and micro mini – together with a rehydrating spray for €45. You can buy it in Make Up For Ever of online from Cult beauty. Handy little present for a sister!
Becca Champagne pop
I actually can’t believe I am able to include this in my gift guide!! Becca’s Champagne Pop is finally available to those of is in Ireland!!! Yes you can all finally get the Champagne glow that I am obsessed with!!! Those of you that have been following me a while will know my absolute love of this, so needless to say, buy it for a friend, buy it for yourself, but don’t go a week longer without this in your life. Oh and yes, it is so worth the heavy price tag of €42. You can pick yours up here.
Philosophy Micro delivery Peel
I would say you are sick of me going on about this product, but I just rate it that highly. The Microdelivery peel is a two step home peel that is said to resurfaces and rejuvenates sun-damaged, hyperpigmented and ageing skin. a tall order for an exfoliator, but one it fulfils in bucketful’s. You can buy it here for €75.60.
Alpha H Lux holiday gift set
While I haven’t tried this myself, I have wanted to give it a go for a while now. The Gift Set is Worth €70 and features two full size of Alpha-H most loved products, Liquid Gold and Balancing Cleanser. The cleanser is said to be creamy and gentle for removing makeup without drying out the skin, while the Liquid Gold is a Glycolic based formulation that works to brighten and revitalise tires and ageing skin. Buff & Blend makeup brush set
I love this brush set!! Along with my Nima brushes, these are the only brushes I use now!! For €80, the set contains 8 brushes. 4 for your face and 4 for you eyes. These include a brilliant and dense powder brush, a foundation brush, an angled powder brush for contouring, mini buffing brush, Angled liner brush, small fluffy brush, pencil brush and a large blending brush.
