I love this time of year as I get to wear warm berry toned lips. What I love even more is beautiful berry lips that last! Enter the Clinique quickener for lips intense. A long lasting Berry lip that would bring a tear to a statue! The Quickliner for lips intense is a twist up pencil that has taken me completely by surprise. These liners pack serious punch and the urge to buy more is so beyond intense.
The Quickliner for lips intense have been released to go hand in hand with the Lip Pop Range. Each liner is said to compliment 2 shades from the Lip Pop Range. The shade range for the Quickliner for lips intense is fantastic. While I was given a berry shade and a bubble gum pink shade to try, there is a shade in the range to suit everyone. I was particularly taken by the mauve colours and plan on purchasing some of them when the range is released.
When it comes to pigmentation, the Quickliner for lips intense are unreal!! Over the past few weeks I have been trying out two colours, Intense Jam and Intense Hibiscus. Both colours are extremely pigmented and you don’t have to try very hard at all to get the colour from the nib to your lip. In fact the colour just went on like an absolute dream. There was no tugging or pulling, instead there was just an infant transfer of colour. This is down to the extremely creamy texture of the liner.
Not only was the pigmentation amazing, but the longevity was like nothing I have ever seen in a lip liner. Honestly I personally haven’t tried a lip liner that lasts as long as these do. Even when swatched on your hand they don’t budge. I like to wear these all over the lip with the Clinique Pop lip colour and primer in Papaya. When worn this way I get hours of wear. Yes the lip colour wears off, but the liner all over the lip is still there .
Even thought the Quickliner for lips intense are long wearing, they are very comfortable on the lip. The liners are incredibly creamy and slide onto the lips. The only down side of this is that the nib breaks if pushed up too much. As you can see from the picture above, this is exactly what happened to me when I wore Intense Hibiscus for the first time.
Personally I am not a fan of the colour of Intense Hibiscus, as it is a little bit too bubble gum pink for my taste, but Intense Jam as really taken a spot in my heart. I absolutely love it. I have worn this so much over the past few weeks and as you can see from the picture above, its hard not to love it.
You can buy the Clinique Quickliner for Lips intense for €19 and the Pop Lip Colour and Primer for €19.50 from all Clinique Counters Nationwide.

October 27, 2015 at 10:46 amAre there any lipsticks out there with a similar colour and punch as “intense Jam”? I think it’s absolutely gorgeous but I’m not sure if I can convince myself to spend €19 on a lip liner….
