This is probably the most important wish list of the year. It will be the one everyone looks at to buy my presents. I am actually so excited for Christmas this year. After a year of ill health and facing into treatment in the new year I am going all out this Christmas. I plan on being a bit ball of glitter and festive cheer. So onto the wish list.
1. Michael Kors Hamilton leather satchel
I actually hurt a little bit inside because I don’t own this yet. This is a thing of beauty. I have decided that this is going to be a little treat to myself after Christmas. I have gone into Brown Thomas a few times to visit this bag. I thought it was the Selma that I wanted, but when I saw this I knew The Hamilton and myself would be great pals. You can buy it in Brown Thomas for €350 or if you know anyone going to the States it’s €270 over there. Sounds a lot but when you think of how many times you will use it, it is really a bargain.
2. The Featherweight Luxe 2i dryer
I hate drying my hair. I have quite thick hair so it takes an absolute age. If I can find a way to make this chore easier I am going to hop onto that wagon. This award winning hairdryer promises to reduce frizz, increase body and shine and because of a specially designed fan it drys your hair quicker. SOLD. There is a downside to this dryer and that is the price. I can be bought in Brown Thomas for €235 with a brush. Saucy.
3. Naked 3 Palette
Do I need to even explain why I have this on my wishlist? It can be pre-ordered now on Look Fantastic and is expected to hit shops Christmas week. It costs €41.30
4. Makeup Forever liquid lift foundation
Since my last operation, my skin has been in shatters. None of my foundations are sitting right on my skin. Last week I went into Makeup Forever on Clarendon street and had a little chat with one of their makeup artists Sinéad and explained why my skin was in a bad way. She was actually amazing. She went out of her way to find a perfect foundation and shade. Before I buy a foundation I always try a tester first to make sure it wears well. The Liquid Lift foundation is really beautiful. It is a light to medium buildable cover and sits so well on the skin. It doesn’t cling to any dry patches and you don’t feel like you are wearing anything on your skin. I am in love. I will do a full review in a few weeks when I have given it a real test drive. There is only 1 Makeup Forever store buy you can purchase it on the Makeup Forever online store
here for €35.
5. Bobbi Brown Old Hollywood Eye Palette
I know, I know another eyeshadow palette. I actually have a problem. This palette features a mix of cool and warm colours with glitter and matte finishes. The nine shades comes in a sleek black mirrored palette and includes a double ended mini brush. It can be purchased at any Bobbi Brown counter for €67.50
