December’s Glossybox

Glossybox December 2013

Another month, another Glossybox and this month I actually don’t know how I feel about the box. I am beginning to tire of boring products in my Glossybox. While the box doesn’t cost an arm and a leg it’s €16 and I’m beginning to think it might be better spent elsewhere. I’ve decided that I am going to give them 2 more months before I make up my mind to keep it or not.

Decembers Glossybox is traditionally a special box. I really like the festive packaging. The candy cane paper and green bedding is so cute. However, that is where the festive theme ends. When I think Christmas, I think glitter, red lips and shiny things, but instead I got soap!!

This was not something I expected to find inside my Glossybox. I actually noticed it before I had the paper fully open as it absolutely stinks. The bee Nature soap is all natural, with ingredients like honey and poppy seeds. It promises to leave the skin soft, smooth and silky. I don’t think this is something that I will be using as the smell of the honey is just too over powering.

I actually like this. It smells delicious. I was walking around the house last night sniffing my hands like a mad woman. Even my boyfriend was loving the smell of this. My only gripe with this is that this is the second month in a row I have received a hand cream in my Glossybox. Hello Glossybox I only have one pair of hands, how much hand cream do you think I need? In saying that, I already have this in my hand bag and I love rituals products so this little baby has found a good home.

A sample of an organic skin care moisturiser that nourishes and repairs fine, sensitive skin. Hmmmm. These sample packets annoy me as I don’t think they belong in a Glossybox.

So this is an ok product. A nude lip gloss is handy. It is another sample size but I don’t mind that as its not something I would use that often. It is slightly on the sticky side but sure it will do the job.
Maybelline Volum’ Express Colossal

This is my favourite product in the box. I love Maybelline mascaras, especially The Falsies. This mascara promises to plump lashes up for a smoky look. Who doesn’t love big lashes?

Some people might think that this box is ok but when I saw what other people got I was more than a little bit disappointed. I really wanted a Sache nail polish. I suppose that’s the deal with subscription boxes, it’s the luck of the draw.

Chic Treat Club May box, including 1st impression video

Over the last few months, I have thought about signing up to the Chic Treat Club  subscription box. They only thing that stopped me doing so, was the fact that it cost €44.95 for 3 months and you had to sign up for a minimum of 3 months. November Chic Treat Club box

This month, Chic Treat Club has done something a little different and teamed up with the people at The Cometic outlet to bring you what I consider to be a really good box this month. Eylure Brow Stencils Eylure have recently released a brow range, and my goodness they have been hitting it out of the park. I recently review the brow crayon from this range, which you can read about here. Glossybox June 2014

I had hoped that this post would be a video, but my camera has decided it wants to shut up shop and leave me, so I am back to the good old fashioned blog post . Glossybox March 2014

Another month, another Glossybox. This is now my 7th Glossybox and I am sad to say it is the last one. Out of 7 boxes I have had 3 good boxes. The September one and last months box. Sadly this box is the nail in the coffin for Glossybox. Each month I pay €16 and all they send out is budget brand makeup, hand or body lotion and sachets of stuff, some of which has even been out of date.     I was so disappointed once again (I got the same one as you) and have to say glad it was my last one & cancelled my subscription. Did you notice that Rich skin food is out of date? x

      im disgusted that the skin food is out of date. I think people are getting fed up with Glossybox and then this happens. Im gonna give it a few more and see
