February Wishlist

There are so many new beauty releases happening in the coming weeks. Every time I log onto Twitter, there is another new launch, ready to tempt the money out of my wallet. While at the same time the more I read other blogs, the more I discover must have products that I don’t already own. I have a problem. I know, but they are all so pretty and it’s my birthday this month, so I really do need to give people ideas.

Kevyn Aucoin – The Sculpting Powder

In my bid to perfect the perfect chiseled cheekbones, I now need the Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting powder. I actually don’t know where I first heard about this, but the minute I did, I saw it everywhere and know my cheekbones need it badly. This is said to be the Holy Grail of contouring powders and now that I have found my new favourite highlighter I have to have this. It is said to mimic the natural shadows of the face to chive razor sharp cheekbones. At €41.76 this is not cheap, so I am putting this on my birthday wish list. Hint, hint family and let me do the work for you. You can  buy it here

Nars Laguna Bronzer

Bless me father for I have sinned. I don’t own a single Nars product. I know, I’ll say 50 Hail Marys and 10 Holy be. There are so many Nars things that I want, but they are very expensive and I could never justify €35 for a blusher or bronzer. Well things have changed and the more I read about the Laguna Bronzer the more I know that my face needs it and needs it badly. To tempt me even more Brown Thomas now stock Nars online.

Hourglass ambient Lighting Blushers

This month seems to be all about the cheeks, but incase you missed my post on Facebook, Hourglass are releasing a range of blushes with the same technology of their Ambient lighting powders. There is no release date for these yet, but they are said to retail for £25 in the UK, so it will be interesting to see what the cost will be when they reach Irish shores. I adore my Ambient lighting powders, so I know that they little beauties will be in my collection at some point.

Make Up For Ever Aqua Brow

I am a huge fan of a good sculpted brow and while I do like my Anastasia Beverly Hill brow Genius, I tried the MUFE Aqua brow the other night and fell in love. This would give a defined brow that won’t budge all day. They were out of stock when I went to buy it, but there is no way February will finish with this on my brows. It costs €20 and can be bought in Make Up For Ever Clarendon street or on their online store.

The Balm Mary- Lou Manizer

Another cheek product. Another highlighting product. Can you say obsessed much? So many Irish Beauty Bloggers have been raving about it this one. A powder highlighter. Do I really need this? I am undecided but I know if I have a bit of spare cash at the end of the month it will be in my cloud10 basket.

I’m dying to try Aqua Brow! My only problem is, I’ve just rebleached my hair so my whole brow routine has to undergo a transformation! x
