Here is the thing. Last month I said I was cancelling my Glossybox Subscription, and I was full sure that I had, but in reality I didn’t actually click the submit button to finalise the cancelation. I know, I know rookie mistake. I am a full on clown. So this month I got what is my final ever Glossybox and in many ways, I am glad I got this box.
I decided to present the contents of this box in a brand new way and I have filmed my very first YouTube video. I am really nervous about posting this. I feel that I am really putting myself out there, but I am a strong believer in pushing your boundaries. I discovered a few things when filming this. Firstly I could actually talk for Ireland. I mean there was no shortage in me finding things to say. I knew I could talk, but seriously there was nobody in the room and I talked and talked.
Secondly, I have had numerous friendly arguments with my boyfriend about my accent, as I have always insisted that I had a neutral accent. Eh no. I have a Dub accent and there is no hiding it. I am shocked and how much of a Dub I sound!! I also sound like a Billy Barry kid gone wrong. You would swear I was reading from a script. I suppose this is what it is all about. It is a massive learning curve. I have already learnt so much from my first experience with the editing and filming process. I know now how to fix mistakes I made this time, but I am sure you will forgive me since it is my first time.
I really enjoyed filming this video and if it goes down well I might do some more. Hope you guys like it.
