HD Brows the beginning.

As a teenager I would spend hours in my room plucking my eyebrows into oblivion. I thought I was a big ball of gorgeousness. I look back on pictures now and wonder why in gods name did my mother not tell me to step away from the tweezers? I mean look at them. There was practically nothing there.

Lately it is all about big brows. Cara Delevingne being the Queen Bee of the power brow. I love a good strong brow á la the cast of TOWIE and every morning I look in the mirror wishing they would just grow.

When I was asked if I would like to try HD Brows I jumped at the chance. Off I went to Beauty Laine salon in Northwood, Santry. Moya, the HD brow expert, quickly went about getting my skimpy brows back onto the path of growth to brow amazingness.

HD Brows is a seven-step eyebrow shaping treatment that focuses on design. It involves a combination of techniques, including tinting, waxing and threading, using specialist HD Brows products. It takes about 45 minutes to make sure the brows are looking great. No need to worry about pain either as I didn’t feel a single bit of pain throughout this process. 

As this is only my first visit, the main aim is to get my brows into the correct shape and design a grow programme that will train my brows into a better shape over a course of a number of visits. Once the hair has grown into the sparse areas I will be able to achieve the ultimate HD Brow shape. In between visits I will use the HD brow eyebrow palette in foxy to fill in the gaps where the hair needs to grow. If your brows are fuller than mine you will get the full HD brow affect on your first visit. Lucky things!

I really am delighted with the shape of my brows. The arch in them is pure perfection. I will 100% go back to Moya as she takes her time and makes sure that everything is perfect. Have you tried HD brows?

My top Mac eyeshadows
