It seems everyday there is a new eyeshadow palette being released. With the huge success of the Urban Decay Naked range it was only a matter of time before Mac followed suit. In March, Mac are set to release not 1 but 2 pre filled neutral palettes. Excited much?
Mac Cool neutral palette |
The first palette is the cool neutral palette. If the name didn’t already give it away, this palette contains a selection of 15 cooler toned neutral colours. The palette itself contains a range of permeant colours as well as re-released colours. The shades in the cool neutral palette are Flounce, Sweet Allure, Sun Tweaked, Blackberry ( permanent) After Dusk, Pick Me up, Crush Clove, Cozy Grey, Deception, Brun ( Permanent), Silver Fog, French Clay, Cumulus, Pearled Earth and Black Tied ( Permanent)
Mac Warm Netural palette |
The second palette is called, surprise, surprise, the warm neutral palette. Again this palette contains 15 pre filled eyeshadows that are both permeant and re-released colours. The colours in the palette are Hey,Warm Breeze, Gingersnap, Dark Brew, Dance In The Dark, Brule (Permanent), Vanilla Extract, Honey Lust (Permanent), Amber Lights (Permanent), Saddle (Permanent), Lemon Tart , Butterfudge, Creative Copper, Unwind, Divine Decadence.
The palettes are going to be a permeant fixture for Mac and are selling in the states since January 9th for $100. There is no prices set , that I have heard of, for Europe, however there is a a rumour that it will retail for €75. If this is the case, talk about a bargain. Normally an empty palette costs €18 and then €12.50 per eyeshadow making the total €205.50.
I am more than a little tempted. It is no surprise that I am a huge Mac eyeshadow fan, but since I discovered Inglot eyeshadows, I haven’t reached for my Mac palettes as much. In saying that, with so many re-released colours in these palettes I think they are really calling my name. Especially the warm neutral palette. However, once these palettes are released I am sure they will sell out in no time and become the must have palette of 2014. Will you buy the Mac pre filled palettes?
