Must have makeup brushes

brushes newYou would not believe the amount of boyfriends and husbands who have emailed me looking for suggestions on makeup brushes to buy their girlfriends/wives. Normally they want a place where you can just click one button and buy a whole set at once. Sadly I don’t think such a set exists . To help them in their search, I have put together all the brushes I think you need to have a rounded brush collection. I own all of these brushes and use them every single day without fail.

Foundation – Sigma F80

Screen Shot 2014-11-30 at 22.29.40To me there is no foundation brush out there that can come close to the brilliance of the Sigma F80 brush. I own 2 of them, so when I’m cleaning one, I have the other to use. If I could only live with one brush for the rest of my life, it would be the Sigma F80. This brush gives you the most beautiful smooth finish to your foundation, and is great for building a full coverage base. You can buy it here for €19.95

Powder – Sigma F24 Tapered face brush

Screen Shot 2014-11-30 at 22.30.57This is my go to powder brush. It is the perfect size for dispersing powder evening over the face. The tapered brush makes it easier to get into all those hard to reach areas. You can buy it here for €27.45

Concealer – Nima Grace brush

This is a fantastic post, Sinéad – I’ve lost track of the amount of times I’ve tried to search for recommended brushes and couldn’t find a good guide. Bookmarking this! The Sigma F80 is my all-time favourite too so I trust you on the rest of them 😉

I live in the United States and cannot purchase the Nima “Tara” blush brush because my bank will not allow over seas purchases, but so desperately want it. any ideas on how I can go around this to obtain one? Or, any good dupes for it?

    Thanks so much!
