My top hair care products

DSC_1733Who doesn’t love a mane of thick, silky, shiny hair? For those of use that weren’t born with hair like that, it takes work, but luckily I have a few products to help you achieve luscious locks. Below are my absolute favourite products for styling my hair from start to finish. I would love to know what your favourites are. So leave a comment down below letting me know. I love finding new products to try.

Tony & Guy Glamour Hairspray

DSC_1740I seriously love this hairspray. I first came across it in a latest in Beauty box, when I received a travel size can. Since then I haven’t been parted from it. It is seriously the bomb dot comb. It lasts the whole day without leaving the hair looking hay like or feeling sticky. It brushes out easily too and doesn’t leave your hair needing a wash the next day as some hairsprays can. When I curl my hair and spray this, it leaves the hair with a lovely natural look to it, rather than a stepford wife stiff look. It costs €7.99 for 250ml can and you can buy it in Boots or online here.

Evolution Keratin leave in conditioner

DSC_1742I use this in two ways. On the ends of my hair before a blow dry and to the tops and ends after a blow dry. Since I have Great Legths hair extensions in, I only use it on the ends of my hair at the moment, as I don’t want it to touch the bonds. However, when I had no extensions I used this all over. It leaves the hair silky smooth, and helps get rid of the frizz. You can buy it directly from Evolution Keratin for €21

L’oreal #TXT super sizing spray

DSC_1747I have lost count of the amount of times I have repurchased this spray. This is hands down the best hair product I have ever used. It is unbelievable. I use this to give my hair volume. You spray it at the roots, at different parts of your hair and then rub is in with your finger tips to get mega big hair. I also spray it at the roots and then back comb the hair a little bit to get even bigger hair. As far as I am concerned, there is no such thing as too big, when it comes to hair.I don’t find it sticky, but if you use to much on a night out, you might need to wash your hair the next day. I don’t mind this, as I am usually flat out on the couch after a night out!! You can buy it in Boots and Dunnes for €4.99 or online here.

Evolution Keratin Blow out treatment

DSC_1749This is another wonder product. I hate blow drying my hair. I have a lot of hair ( pre Great Lengths) and it takes ages to blow dry. Like seriously ages. This product not only smooths out your hair, but it literally cuts the amount of time it takes to blow-dry your hair in half. I was very sceptical when I was heard about what it could do, but I swear to you, this stuff seriously works!! I sadly can’t use it at the moment, because of my extensions, but I sometimes add a little into the ends of the hair to smooth them out and speed up the drying. Like with the leave in conditioner, you can buy this directly from Evolution Keratin for €22.

Great Lengths Colour reflex shampoo

DSC_1752I don’t know if I have mentioned it before, but I have Great Lengths hair extensions in. ( I mean is there anyone in Ireland that doesn’t know I have these extensions in?) When wearing Great Lengths, you need to use shampoo that is sulphate free, as sulphates break down the bond and the extensions just won’t last as long as they are suppose to. There are shampoos on the market that are sulphate free, but I decided that I would use the recommended shampoo, as the extensions are expensive and I wanted them to last. This shampoo while great for my extension filled hair, is also perfect for normal hair. It seriously leaves your hair squeaky clean. I got my hair dyed a few weeks back, and honestly this shampoo has extended the vibrancy of my hair colour, longer than any other colour protectant shampoo. A bottle of this costs €17.99 including delivery and you can buy it directly from Great Lengths Ireland here . You should see the presentation of the delivery. I ordered on a Tuesday night and it was delivered on a Thursday morning and I was genuinely surprised by the gorgeous presentation. You can have a little look at the video of the presentation here.
