NARS Deep Throat Blush review

Ok Nars, this girl is certainly no prude, but seriously the name. Ewwww!

Recently the gorgeous Kat form Sophistikat.ie spotted me mooching over the cult classic Nars Deep Throat in Brown Thomas, and the divil that she is, went and bought it for me for my birthday. While I was slightly embarrassed, I was also equally delighted as I had been fawning over this for quite a while.

Nars Deep Throat is a  beautiful shimmery pinky peach colour, with hints of gold running through it. However, don’t be put off by the word shimmer, as unlike Nars Orgasm, the shimmer is very subtle and gives your cheek more of a golden glow,rather than full on shimmer.Deep throat will instead give your cheeks a flush of colour that is perfect for spring.

Sometimes with blushers that have a bit of shimmer in them, they can make pores look more obvious. Thankfully that is not the case with Deep Throat. As the shimmer is so sublet, it doesn’t place havoc with pores on the cheeks.

Deep Throat comes in the usual Nars matte black packaging. I personally hate this packaging, as it gets so dirty so quickly. I also expected it to be bigger, but the size is quite dainty.

Pigmentation wise, Deep throat is unreal. I find that unless I want a good bit of colour on my cheeks, I need to be very light with my brush. I have found that the lightest touch gives a beautiful sublet wash of colour for the daytime. While a little more heavy hand makes this the perfect colour for nightime.

Overall I am seriously  loving everything about Deep Throat, except the name!! You can buy it in Brown Thomas for €30. Or online here.
