Physicians Formula shimmer strips custom eye enchanting eyeliner trios

DSC_4036I don’t know how they do it, but when it comes to eyeliners, Physicians Formula just blow me away. You all know my love/ borderline obsession with the Physicians formula 2 in 1 eyeliners and serum, well,  the love is spreading and my latest find is the Physicians Formula shimmer strips custom eye enchanting eyeliner trios.  Physicians formula might be good a eyeliners, but they certainly need to up their game when it comes to snappy names!!

DSC_4044Each set of shimmer strips comes with 3 skinny eyeliners. Each liner is retractable, and there is a sharpener at the end, but I am yet to figure out how to use it without breaking the liner off!!

DSC_4055Each set includes three colours. I have the nude eye set and it contains, a soft black with a hint of shimmer, that is perfect for creating a smoky eye, as it is perfect for smudging. A champagne colour, that is more metallic than shimmer. I have reached for this one the least, as I find it a little too pale for my skin tone and finally a bronze colour, which is my absolute favourite,as it really makes blue eyes pop and applies like a dream.

I wore it on the waterline and under the lash line, and found no trouble at all with application. The liners are smudgable, but you need to move fast, as they set quite quickly.

The staying power of these liners is what really stands out for me. When applied to the water line, they last longer than most regular liners and I get a few hours wear, without it wearing away. However, when applied just under the lash line, it literally does not budge. I could apply this at 730 in the morning and it would still be on when I come home that evening. Not only that, but it doesn’t slide half way down your face like some liners do. I have often found when applying liner, that half way through the day, it ends up smudged under you eyes, leaving you with panda eyes.  Not with these babies, they literally stay exactly where you put them until it is time to take your makeup off. Considering they stay on so well, you would think they would be hard to take off. Oh no, they come off easily with any makeup remover.

While I know Physicians formula is hard to get, these eyeliners are worth trying to get your hands on and cost €16.90 on available Physicans formala stands. However,  they can be found on iHerb.com for less than €10 and come in a variety of different shades to suit individual eye colours.

iHerb have stopped including paper statements with their orders so if you order via DHL there’s a very strong chance of being hit by customs – I was charged the guts of €17 on an order worth €25! I’m not sure about ordinary postage but I know a few people who have been charged recently. Just a heads up!

The liners look really nice, I haven’t had much luck with this brand but I would definitely try one of these.
