Q and A a day: 5 year Journal
I am not a journal keeper. In fact, reliving my day on paper is quite possibly the worst thing I could imagine doing every night. Yet when I saw Jen from Too Dolly Makeup talk about the Q and A a day: 5 year journal on snapchat, I thought that not only was this something I could easily do, but something I might actually enjoy doing.
Each day the Journal asks a random question. It can be anything at all from What song is currently stuck in your head? To what is the most expensive piece of clothing you wore today. Completely random stuff. The idea is that each day you answer the question and then the following year you go back and re-answer the question underneath. This is done everyday for 5 years. I thought this would be a really sweet idea for a gift and I have picked up a number of these from the book depository for €17.09. You can buy yours here.
Naked weightless concealer
As far as concealers go, this is the greatest concealer ever. The Urban Decay Naked Skin weightless complete coverage concealer is a full coverage concealer, with a seriously lightweight feeling to it.The consistency is very fluid, and you really only need the tinniest amount to get good coverage. It also sets pretty quickly and dries to a smooth matte finish. There are 8 shades to choose from, and the lightest shade, fair neutral, is quite light so should suit even very pale skinned ladies. I bought, light warm, which is suitable for anyone who is around the Mac Nc 20/25 range. You can buy the concealer here for €22.You can read a full review here.
Porcelain Catchall – Petits Secrets
This would make the perfect stocking filler for anybody!!! I would absolutely love this little dish for my own makeup table when I get my new makeup room. At only €28 from Irish website My Shining Armour, this would really be a gorgeous addition to your shopping list. You can pick one up here.
The Manizer Sisters
Unless you’ve been living under a rock you will have heard about the absolutely beautiful Mary Lou Manizer from The Balm Cosmetics. The Mary Lou Manizer is a smooth, buttery and extremely pigmented highlighter. It is a beautiful champagne colour, that would look gorgeous on fair to medium dark toned skin. It is has a beautiful shimmer to it, without a hint of glitter insight. Now to make things even better, the people at The Balm have put the three sisters in one palette. Each shade will give you a different highlighted finish to the skin. You can pick a palette up from Cloud 10 beauty here for €28.
Caudalie Gift set
I have only recently discovered the brand Caudalie, but already so many of their products have found their way into my skincare regime. The value in the these gift sets is unreal. The cleansing oil is unreal for taking off makeup!! You can pick this set up in Arnotts for €19.50 here.
This is such a good stocking filler for beauty lovers because the Beauty Blender is so worth every ounce of hype that it has gotten. While it is essentially a sponge, it really is brilliant for bouncing the foundation into your skin to give a flawless finish and banish away an cake face. You can pick them up on Cult Beauty here for €23.

The Body Shop Frosted Plum Scented Candle
As I am writing this post, I currently have this candle burning and the smell is absolutely divine and the smell has filled the whole house!!! Christmas really wouldn’t be Christmas without little bodyshop in your life and what I love about The Body Shop at Christmas is that each year they pick a charity that will benefit from sales of certain gifts! The Charity this year is water Aid. WaterAid operates in 37 countries across the world, bringing water, sanitation and improved hygiene to some of the world’s poorest communities. This year each single gift donation will help a family in Ethiopia have a day of safe clean water. I know we give out about water bills, but at least we can turn the tap on and know that what we are drinking is not going to harm up. You can pick the candle for €17 here
