Mac Extra Dimension Blushers

When it comes to blushers, Mac is hands down my favourite brand. While I have other blushers that I like, I don’t think you can beat Mac when it comes to  longevity, colour payoff and shade section. The Extra Dimension blushers are the latest additions into the Mac blusher wardrobe. They had previously released this formula as part of limited edition collections before but finally they are no longer teasing us and they have given us 11 whopper shades to pick from. There are so many things to love about these blushers. Mac claim that their Extra Dimension blushers are a type of hybrid blusher. They say that the blend like…

Urban Decay Afterglow 8 hour blusher

Before I even begin to talk about the blushers, can we just take a second to admire the absolute beauty that is the packaging and colours of the new Urban Decay Afterglow 8 hour blusher. I mean look at them! They are absolute beauties.   For the past few weeks I have trailed 3 colours from the new Afterglow 8 hour blushers, that were recently released as part of the Urban Decay summer collection. Urban Decay have really gone all out when it comes to colour, and while there is a colour to suit most, many of these shades are not for either the light-hearted or the heavy-handed. The After…

Clinique Sculptionary cheek contouring palette.

Considering the amount of makeup I own, I find it astounding that this is my very first item from Clinique’s makeup range. I have tried out their skin care products before and liked them, but for some reason or other, I have never taken the plunge with their makeup. I recently received a voucher for Debenhams and decided to take the plunge and buy the Clinque Sculptionary cheek contouring palette. The Clinique Sculptionary cheek contouring palette comes in four different colours. Defining Nectars, Defining Roses, Defining Nudes and the one I bought, Defining Berries. When I swatched all of them in the shop, it seemed to me that the most pigmented and…

Mac Margin blusher

At this time of the year our skin needs every little bit of help it can get to give it a bit of a glow. Once the weather changes, I find that my skin looks so lack lustre and dull.  One of my favourite things to do to bring life to my face, is to use a blusher with a little bit of shimmer in it and right now my favourite blusher for doing this is Mac Margin. Margin is one of the most popular blushers from Mac. I am a big fan of Mac blushers, as I find them extremely pigmented, and long wearing. Margin is no different.  It…

Thrifty Tuesday: NYX blushers

In case you have been living under a rock for the last few weeks, NYX has launched in Ireland. Let’s all just knell down and offer thanks to the makeup gods above and the people at Market Match pr, for bringing this absolutely amazing brand to our shores. You have no idea how much I absolutely love this brand. I don’t think there is a product in this brand that I don’t love, and some are well up their as holy grail products. I mean their butter glosses are probably my most used makeup product. I always stock up when I go to the States, so the fact they are…

Hourglass Ambient lighting blusher – Diffused heat review

These little beauties came onto my radar in January. I am not going to lie, I squealed a little when I saw Temptalia talk about them. I am a massive fan of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting finishing powders, so the thoughts of a blusher version of these wonder powders, seriously had my knickers in a twist. I wanted one, but I couldn’t decide which one I should start with, as I wanted to see them all in real life before ordering. They aren’t cheap, so I didn’t want to regret my choice. Googled picture from beautypointofview.com The Hourglass Ambient lighting blushers come in 6 shades. Diffused heat, Dim Infusions, Mood…
