It seems every week I am coming to you with another eyeliner pen. I wear eyeliner every day so I go through eyeliner pens like wildfire and as a result I am constantly trying new ones. My latest eyeliner pen to try out is the Physicians Formula Eye booster 2 in 1 eyeliner and serum. Quite a mouth full if I do say so myself.
There are two things I look for when using and eyeliner pen. Firstly the stiffness of the nip needs to be soft, so that it won’t hurt your eye when using it, but at the same time it needs to have a good level of stiffness so that it is easier to apply the liner. No one wants a floppy nib!! A very soft nip makes it too hard to get that perfect winged liner. This nib is hands down the best nib on any eyeliner pen I have tried. I know I say that all the time, but this seriously rocks. You do need to take your time when applying as even though the nib is perfect, it can apply a little bumpy if you rush. I have not applied a bad winged liner since I started using this.
The second thing I look for is how much product is dispersed on application. The last thing I want to be doing is pulling on the eye to release more product. This pen is very moist and disperses a fantastic amount of product without it soaking the eye and ending up hall way up your forehead. It is very black and lasts all day.
The Physican formula eyeliner is not only an eyeliner pen, but it also a lash boosting serum. The ingredients are said to condition your lashes, while the same time enhancing them and encouraging them to grow.
Physicans Formula is currently rolling out nationwide, but as yet I don’t have a list of stockists. You can however order from iherb.com and get it for the bargain price of €7.76, they will retail in Ireland for €15.90. I will be stocking up on these in a few colours when I get to the States in a few weeks.
