I’ve had this blusher and bronzer combo in my drawer for the last few months and it was only a few weeks ago, while shopping my stash, that I took it out to give it a go. Since my very first use, I was kicking myself that I hadn’t taken it out sooner to use as it is quite simply perfect.
The bronzer and blusher are housed in a white plastic compact with a mirror inside. The compact is quite sturdy, as I have had it knocking about in my bag for the last two weeks and it’s still in perfect condition.
The Bronzer and blusher combo comes in 5 different shades. I got the shade Ibiza to try out and while it looks darker than some of the shades, I have to say it is the perfect colour for my skin tone. The Ibiza compact is split in two with a matte bronzer on one side and a slightly shimmery blusher on the other.
The bronzer in the Ibiza compact is a medium toned matte bronzer, that reminds me a little of Nars Laguna. When applied it doesn’t have massive colour pay off, which some people might not like, but I think makes it perfect for contouring, as you can gently build the colour up to achieve the perfect sculpted look.
The blusher side has a slight shimmer to it and is a beautiful candy pink colour. It gives the cheeks the most beautiful flush of colour and the little bit of shimmer gives a real glow to the cheeks.
Both of these colours work really well together when used separately. However, I love to swirl the two of them together and with a big bronzer brush, run in under and slightly on the cheekbones. This creates a really a glowy bronze look and is perfect for adding some life to your face in the morning.
