Top 10 under €10

I seem to have blogged about a lot of high end products recently, however some of my favourite products actually cost less than €10. Sometimes, the high street products can come out on top over the high end ones.

Wet N Wild Petal pusher palette

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last few weeks, you will already know that American brand Wet n Wild have launched in Ireland. Wet n Wild is being stocked in Dunnes and Pennys all around the country and if it hasn’t reached your local store yet, it will in the next few weeks. For me the eyeshadows are a real stand out. I bought the palette called Petal pusher. It is a fab purples palette that gives you directions on each shadow as to where you need to place it on the eye. For me the colours are good dupes for some Mac shadows that I have, including Beauty Marked and Shock a holic. I have my eye on the neutral trio called walking on Egg Shells. For a high street brand, these eyeshadows are well worth having in your collection . This palette will set you back €6.49

NYX Blushers

I don’t know if I have raved enough about NYX before. I’d say you are sick of me at this stage, but here .
they are by far my favourite high street brand and the fact that they are launching in Ireland soon, excites me beyond belief. I love their blushers. They are so pigmented and relatively long lasting. They come in a range of colours. This blush is in Mocha and is a coral colour, that just looks fab on the cheeks. The blushers cost €7.20 and can be bought

                                                                                       Maybelline Brow Drama

I am a big brows girl. I love a strong, but at the same time not over powering brow. This product can be used in 2 ways. To set your eyebrows after you have applied colour , or on it’s own to give a more natural looking brow. It comes in 3 different colours and costs €7.49 and can be bought on all Maybelline  stands or here.

Sleek Blushers

Up until Novemeber, Sleek makeup was very hard to get your hands on. Sleek is a firm favourite among beauty fans and it is not surprising why. My favourite is their blushers. They are just gorgeous. For me Sleek Rose gold is a fairly good dupe for the ever popular Nars Orgasam and a fraction of the cost at €6.49 . I have only seen Sleek in Boots for now, but you can buy them online here.

Elf liquid eyeliner

This liner is seriously, seriously black. It is a standard enough liquid liner, but the brush makes it easier to apply. I use this on top of my pencil liner or gel liners sometimes to make them ever blacker. It also works great on it’s own. My own downside to this, is that is takes ages to dry and I have ended up with black liners on top of my eyeshadow from blinking too soon. It can be bought on the Elf Website here for about €2 depending on exchange rates.

Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo

Ok I have cheated a little bit with this one, as this costs €10.49, but in my defence I got it when it was on offer and cheaper. I have the colour, On and on bronze and it is the most perfect all over the lip colour. When I use this, I just pop it on the lid on its own and off I go. It has some many different highlights going through it that it doesn’t need anything else. It is long wearing, not 24hours long wearing but non the less. There 9 colours in the range and even more in the states and they can be bought on most Maybelline stands.

Wet n Wild Megalast nail Varnish

I am rubbish at doing my nails. I mean I am a complete failure. I hate doing them because the varnish goes everywhere and then they end up chipping within a few hours or at most a day. I was given this colour to try out, but I have since gone out to buy 3 more colours. They apply so easily. The applicator is the best that I have tried and the best part is I got 3 days wear out of it!!  That is seriously unheard of for me. I will do a full post soon, but needless to say I will be buying even more of these colour and at €2.99 I don’t feel like I am breaking the bank.

EOS Lip balm

I am not a massive lip balm person. I don’t suffer from dry lips luckily. However. I love this. It smells so good you could eat it. I mainly use this when I am getting ready. I apply it to my lips and by the time I come to putting my lipstick on, my lips are lovely and moist. They can be bought on cloud10beauty for €6.95

Seventeen Instant Glow shimmer brick

This was my go to glow for a while when I first bought it. I don’t use it as much now due to the fact I love my hourglass finishing powders. If you are a fan of Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks, but don’t fancy the cost of them, then this is something you should have in your makeup bag. As you can see from the picture above, it is a very good dupe for the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and a fraction of the cost at €6.29

Rimmel Apocalips

If you haven’t got at least one of these in your makeup bag, well then you need to sort it out ASAP. I love these lip products. They are bursting with colour, apply beautifully to the lips and aren’t sticky. The applicator applies the perfect colour to your lips and they have really good staying power. I have five different colours, but my favourite are Stellar and Apocaliptic that are in the pictures above. There are 13 different colours in the collection and they cost €5.95 each. Bargain.

Nice post, a good reminder that you don’t always have to spend a fortune to get great products.

It took me a while to get the hang of applying the Rimmel Apocalips in a way that the colour lasted on me, but once I did they became firm favourites.

Thanks Paula. It is so easy to get caught up in high end releases, but there are gems to be found in Boots

I used the Wet ‘n Wild Nail Varnish for the first time and found it absolutely brilliant. I love it because it doesn’t chip easily and goes on really well. I can’t believe it’s so cheap.
