Any of you that follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, may already have gathered that I am in the USA. Orlando to be exact. I decided to book a little trip, as I start treatment when I get back. The sun has really given me a boost and helps in taking my mind off things. The shopping helps too. That really helps.
USA haul Part 1
The reason there is only 1 NYX blush in this haul is because the stand only had 1 left. Otherwise I would have wiped them out myself. I love NYX. Their blushers are fab. So pigmented and easy to use. They are hard to get your hands on in Ireland, but I know Littlewoods have some in stock. This blusher cost $5 and I am hoping to buy so much more of these before I go home.
The NYX Matte lip creams are extremely pigmented and long lasting. They do have a tendency to dry out on the lip, but a little clear gloss on top sorts this problem right out. Addis Ababa is a bright fuchsia colour, Perfect for the coming warmer months
I have read online that this is an exact dupe for Mac’s Cream cup. Having looked at Mac Cream cup since buying this, they really are very similar. This cost $1.99 while Mac is considerably dearer. Think I will have to go back and pick up another few more of these.
Another NYX lip product, but this time it is a creamy and pigment gloss. This is a gorgeous baby pink product. It is very pigmented and lasts a decent length of time.
I had read so much about this product and I was dying to get my hands on it. However, I am more than a little disappointed with it. While I will do a full blog post on it for now I will say, while it does give you a fab brow, it is so hard to use. I am good at doing my brows but this product is hard work.
This palette cost $4.49. Seriously how could I leave this behind? It is very pigmented and creamy. I haven’t used them yet but the colours are very similar to some Mac colours I already have. I think I will have to buy more of these in other shades.
I have had my eye on this for a while now and when I saw it in the Cosmetic company store for less than €11 I was seriously chuffed. I love paint pots as a base for my eyeshadow and giving my shadows some pop.
This was another item that was on my list and another find in the Cosmetic company store. It cost €8 and I just couldn’t leave it behind. It is a fab pink colour that is great for contouring the eye for a lighter spring look.
I serially have millions of hand lotions but I loved the look of this. I have tried the Eos lip balms, which I love so I had to have this. It cost $3.99 and smells yummy.
I love Elf face brushes. They are fantastic for picking up product and dispersing it evenly. They are cheap and fairly durable. You can buy them on eyeslipsface.co.uk. While they are not as good as my sigma or grow brushes they are a good cheaper alternative and I highly recommend these if you want to grow your brush collection.
