Wet’n’Wild Petal Pusher Palette Review

Unless you have been living under a rock for the past few months, you will already know that the massively popular US brand Wet n Wild landed on Irish shores last January. If you haven’t already bought at least 1 item from this incredible brand, you seriously need to get yourself down to you nearest Dunnes and get something. Honestly the range is amazing. Already so many of their products have found their way into my favourites. One of my most used Wet n Wild products over the last few months, is the Petal Pusher Palette ( try saying that fast again and again). I adore the looks that this palette creates as you can go for a nice day time look, right up to a serious smoky eye look. I always get loads of compliments when I wear these eyeshadows.
Wet n Wild Petal pusher palette
The Wet ‘n’ Wild Petal Pusher Colour Icon Eyeshadow Palette, is a pink and purple coloured palette containing 8 different colours. The palette is split into 2 columns, and while all the colours compliment each other, they seem to work better together when used horizontaly. The column on the left of the palette is more purple toned, while the column on the right is much deeper in tone. Like all Wet n Wild eyeshadows, the palette comes with the area of the eyelid that the eyeshadow is best suited to indented into the shadow itself. Perfect if you aren’t too confident at creating an eyeshadow look that involves more than 1 eyeshadow at a time. There are a number of colours in this palette that are good dupes for Mac eyeshadows, including beauty marked and satellite dreams. I love finding dupes for more expensive products.
The eyeshadows in this palette have a very soft and creamy texture. The shadows themselves, while they don’t have much fall out, are a little crumbly in the pan, and can break easily. You need to be careful with these ones ladies. One drop and the shadows will be a goner.

Unlike a lot of budget eyeshadows, the Wet n Wild eyeshadows are seriously pigmented and the petal pusher palette is no exception. The colour payoff with these shadows is outstanding. They are also extremely easy to blend. I love using this palette as all the colours create a fabulous eye look with little or no effort due to the pigmentation. Not only that, but they wear really well. When used with a primer, I got no creasing at all. The wear time for these eyeshadows is excellent. Anytime I wear them they last all day.
Eye makeup using Wet n Wild Petal pusher palette
At €6.49 for the Wet ‘n’ Wild Petal Pusher Colour Icon Eyeshadow Palette this is a serious bargain. The pigmentation and quality of these eyeshadows are fantastic and one that you should absolutely have in your makeup bag. You can buy them in most Dunnes store and a number of Pennys and local chemists.
Have you tried any Wet n Wild product yet? I would love if you left a comment with your favourite product below so I can add it to my shopping list.

This has been on my list for a while, but any time I have gone looking it has been sold out! What a pity!
