When I look back on my haul posts I realise I bought a serious amount of beauty products when I was away. This is the final haul of everything I bought and I did think long and hard before I bought almost all of these items.
Clinique Dramatically different moisturising lotion
I used to use this years ago and actually don’t know why I stopped. To me this is a good solid moisturising lotion that does exactly what it says on the skin. A little goes a long way and this will last me for months. I really like this moisturiser. I have got one little gripe with this moisturiser and that is the price. I paid €18 for this in the states and yet it costs around €40 here. I know Clinque recently launched a newer version of this moisturiser but serially how are we getting so ripped off?
Essie Nail polish – Master plan
This is my 1st ever Essie polish. How have I not have one before? This is a very neutral grey brown colour. The Essie polishes apply so easily and a very smooth. They cost around €6.50 in the states but you will pay at least €9.99 here. I will definitely be buying more of these polishes. No nail polish collection should be without them!
Hourglass ambient lighting powder- diffused light
This was actually the number 1 thing that I wanted when going to the states, but as you might have read in my 2nd haul post, I bought the wrong one when I went to Sephora. I couldn’t leave the States without buying the correct one. This is the most beautiful finishing powder that gives your skin a glow from within look, while at the same time setting your makeup. You can read my full review here.
Josie Maran Coconut Water Cheek Gelee
Ok so this one was a bit of an impulse buy. It is very rare that I buy makeup without reseaching the living daylights out of it. However, when in Sephora, I got talking makeup with this really nice sales assistant and she told me that this was her top product and it literally walks off the shelf. I am a sucker for a good sales pitch, I fall for it hook, line and sinker every time. When in the Sephora I read a few quick reviews online and I decided that I would buy it. It was €20, while still slightly saucy it wasn’t priced over the top . I kinda regret buying this. I don’t know if it’s that I am not using it right or what. The main thing that I don’t really like is the smell. It has a very strong smell of coconut. I don’t not like this this blusher, I think I just need to use it more. I’ll do a full blog post when I decide how I feel about it fully.
NYX Butter gloss
I know, I know. Another NYX butter gloss. Yes I am slighty obsessed with these, but at $5 each I just wanted them all. You can read a full blog post here about all my butter glosses.
Clarisonic Mia 2
I am blaming my friend Emma for this one. She put this idea into my head.It is all her fault and that is what I am going to tell Mr Visa. I had decided before going away that I was going to invest in skin care. With everything that I’ve been through over the last year my skin was in ribbons and I needed to address it asap. For those of you that don’t know what this is, it is basically a giant tooth brush for your face. It deep cleans the skin, unclogs pores, reduces wrinkles. It has 2 speeds and you can replace the heads. I’ve been using it for about a week now and I am going to be honest, I do feel a difference. It’s too soon to say if it is solely down to this, but my skin does feel better. This is another example of how we are being ripped off though. This cost roughly €94 in the states and yet if I was to walking into Brown Thomas tomorrow, I would pay €149. Rip off Ireland is still thriving. ( This is the standard price in Ireland)
Philosophy Festive Favourites
This gift set is something I had eyed up in Arnotts before Christmas. I think it was priced around the €109 mark so when I saw it for $79 (around €60) I didn’t care how heavy it weighed, it was coming home on the plane with me. It has such a great selection of philosophy products and the purity cleansing lotion is a great partner for the Clarisonic. I will do individual blog posts for each of these items once I have used them longer, but ladies, that Microdelivery exfoliating wash is serisouly amazing, even if it smells like old socks.
Michael Kors Nail Varnish and lipgloss
I don’t know why this is showing up as orange in the picture, when they are actually red! By the looks of how Michael Kors products and handbags are selling in the States, he must serisouly be one very rich man. It’s like the stuff has legs and is walking off the shelves itself. I have heard good things about these nail varnishes from other bloggers so I treated myself while in Macys one day.
